Dr. Peter Dürolf, Partner Holding the CFO position from 2015 to 2017 of Ober Scharrer Gruppe, Germany’s leading outpatient Eye Care practises group, Peter Dürolf played a vital role in increasing profitability of the group. Slimming down administrative units whilst at the same time strengthening the operative business as well as boosting growth by realizing some important acquisitions opened the doors for the sale of the group to a financial investor in spring 2018. From 2013 to 2014 he devoted his time to his own entrepreneurial equity holding in CellProtect Holding AG, Schweiz. From 2010 to 2012, being member of the Executive Board (CFO) of Damp Holding AG, a health care provider with 11 clinics for acute care and rehabilitation he contributed decisively to the successful restructuring and strengthening of profitability and finally the sale of the group to Helios/Fresenius. From 2002 to 2009 Peter Dürolf was Member of the Executive Board of Andreas Stihl AG responsible for Controlling, Finance, Human Resources, IT and Legal of the world leader in chain saws and brush cutters. During his time at Stihl the group expanded into South East Asia by founding a production site in China and acquired a strategically important supplier with sites in Japan, China, Hongkong and USA. 1989 until 2002 he held various management board positions in subsidiaries in Germany, Great Britain and Switzerland within the Jungheinrich group, a leading supplier of fork lift trucks. Peter Dürolf started his professional career in 1983 in the Controlling department of MD Papierfabriken GmbH, where he accompanied until 1989 as department head among others big investments into new paper machines securing the company’s future. Peter Dürolf, born on August 29,1956 in Munich, studied Economics and Business Administration at Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich and the University of Manchester and did his PhD at the University of Stuttgart at the institute for Controlling, Prof. Horvath.
