Jean Dufour was member of the board of management of Bosch Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH (BSH) and responsible for sales worldwide, marketing and logistics until 2012. With the brands Bosch, Siemens, Neff, Gaggenau, Constructa etc. he strengthened the market leadership of BSH in Western and Eastern Europe and achieved a leading market position in China. In the last years he shaped the internal and external BSH activities to meet the challenges and opportunities of the internet. He joined the BSH Management Board in 2005.

As a member of the board of management of the Bosch division Chassis Systems he was in charge of worldwide sales, marketing and application engineering from 2001 to 2005.

In 1995 he founded the product division Bosch Accessories for power tools in Switzerland and managed this division until 2001. During this period he initiated several acquisitions of external companies and integrated these in the product division.

From 1989 to 1995 he was member of the board of management of the regional subsidiary Bosch France and in charge of the Bosch Powertools division.

Before that, from 1986 to 1989 he was located in the headquarters of the Bosch Powertools division in Leinfelden/Stuttgart and headed the Sales Europe department.

Jean Dufour started his professional career at Bosch in 1981 as trainee. Assignments as Area Sales Manager for Bosch powertools in Stuttgart and director Key Account and Marketing in Paris, France followed.

From 1978 to 1981 Jean Dufour worked as head of export for the medium-sized company OPTIMA Maschinenfabrik in Schwäbisch-Hall, Germany.

Jean Dufour was born in Stuttgart in 1955. He studied political sciences in Strasbourg, France and business law and marketing in the USA.
